Stop signs and
Traffic lights,
leaving it all with
T-shirt,
Shorts,
and Sandals.
Tonight she is swimming,
Holding her breath just below the surface level
just Silently
just Respectfully
just Thankfully:

and as she floats to the surface on her back and smiles simply up at the moon...

sinks
to

Love the structure of the reverse alliteration of the first stanza and then the change to a free-form structure to reflect the content. Nice form.
